NABSol is Native American owned
Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe (PLPT) is in Nevada near Reno and Tahoe. Pyramid Lake is a sacred place of beauty and mystery. It is home to the State fish, the Lahontan Cutthroat Trout, a world record fish of over 40 lbs. It is also known for its prehistoric Cui Ui fish that is unique only to this lake. The Lake is fed by the Truckee River which has recently (2016/17) risen higher than it had since late 1990’s.
PLPT has many natural resources. It is a small, non-gaming Tribe. Our goal is to create economic opportunities that are compatible with the Sacred lake, the history, the land and its people.
Our Mission
At NABSol, our mission is two-fold.
Our first goal is to create collaborative business solutions that benefit Native American Tribes and Native American entrepreneurs. Tribal member owned enterprises can enjoy strong business advantages.
Our second goal is to create B2B opportunities, both inside and outside tribal land, that give back to the community.
Economic Development
Although Federally recognized tribes have some built-in advantages, Economic Development in Indian Country continues to be a challenge.
Political Sovereignty
Sovereignty on Tribal land is a clear advantage for Tribal Members. It can be an attraction or a deterrent for non-Tribal businesses when considering doing business on Tribal land.
It is our desire to create relationships, on and off of Tribal land, that
- Encourage Native American Entrepreneurship
- Highlights the unique advantages of doing business with Native Americans
- Brings awareness to the social importance of helping Indigenous people to create a sustainable economic environment
